Course correct vs. move on

Currently not on track to be promoted and weighing the choice of whether to really commit and give it my all or begin to look elsewhere and ride out the rest of my time.

For what it’s worth, I do genuinely want to keep learning and developing professionally, so not keen to screw off nor have that perception (for a number of reasons including both personal & if / when it comes time for me to provide references).

Curious to hear from folks who might’ve been in this spot before and how you thought about things.
