So, I'm currently working in the DMV area in an entry level accounting job, and I am trying to get the ball rolling on applying for the CPA exam.
I was wondering if anyone on here had applied through one of these three different jurisdictions, or had advice to offer on which one of them is the easiest/least complicated/etc as far as the application process goes.
I have been told that DC will make you "jump through more hoops" in terms of notarizing documentation, submitting forms, etc, but I would like to get as much feedback/advice as possible.
Don't know off the top of my head, go to the NASBA site or each state site and look at 1) hour requirements (should all be 150 I'm guessing) and their steps to get the actual license once you pass exam. Sometimes the licensing part is a bigger pain in the neck, I would literally plot out each state and see which one has greater hassle.
