So I know what a cover letter looks liks and have written plenty. My question is regarding online appications. Lets say if you are formally applying online to like Barclays, BofA JPmorgan etc, and you have to upload your cover letter. What address do you use, their corporate headquarters? Should you even include their address or just use yours and start with dear sir or maddam?

Address isn't important. I just start mine with
"Dear Sir/Madam,"
then fire away.
