Keep studying hard, networking hard, etc. There’s no use in thinking so negatively, because you have nothing to lose by trying, and thinking so negatively will just demotivate you. Try to target some IB adjacent fields just in case it does just so happen that you end up striking out.

Don’t think about an MBA yet, to even get into a top MBA program in the future you’d need great grades and good work experience, so just focus on trying to get/maintain those for now. There’s the GMAT too but don’t worry about that until senior year at the earliest.

Current UM senior, pm me and I’ll help you get to the promised land.

I would say you're still pretty fine, it's only going to start early Springish or next month if you're diversity. There's a lot of guys on the street from University of Miami (assuming florida one?) so you should be able to reach out to some of your alumni for some guidance or foot in the door help. Just shoot for middle markets and boutiques and full time recruit your way up to a larger bank if that path seems more feasible to achieve. I went to a semi-target non-target ish idk how how people perceive my school but had to full time recruit from a boutique to a top bulge bracket where I am at now. So I wouldn't fret at all yet you still have plenty of time. I didn't have anything in hand till August going into my junior year and had a football season to prepare for :). You'll be ok just keep networking and grinding and maintain your relationships don't keep them transactional. Who knows what analyst you meet now could go A2A and have some pull for you later.
