hi, current ug senior & incoming lateral at a eb with 26 start date.

i have not been doing well the past semester mentally (due to personal/family issues) and my courseload this semester is pretty tough, which is exacerbating the situation. Im trying to just suck it up and graduate on time but honestly im really struggling.

Im hoping to push back my start date by a year to 27. i havent contacted hr/staffer about this yet, as im worried that trying to push back the start date will be a bad look (esp as a lateral) and may lead to my offer being rescinded.
