I agree it is highly unlikely. That being said you have to consider if one of the higher ups who this HR demon is going to (hopefully) speak with knows someone at the boutique, decides to give him a call ask him about the offer etc. Although you could probably chalk your error up to being nervous, it would not be a good situation. In the future just tell em straight it is not worth the stress.
