DePaul grad student in MSF seeking advice for jobs

I am currently a first year MSF grad student in DePaul (Chicago), gonna graduate summer 2013. so far I am so worrying the job seeking in finance industry after graduation. I just realize my tough situation, gpa so far is 3.1, no internship very related to finance, a couple of marketing, gonna take CFA level one this December. the time is short before graduation. I sincerely seeking any advice from you to help me. I know I must work hard to get this situation a little better. Any advice will be helpful. I really appreciate.

What area of finance would you like to work in?

You could try and land a part-time gig in that area if your class hours aren't too crazy (I don't have much experience with MSF so I'm not sure).
