“My recruiter hasn’t contacted me in 24 hours, should I go camp out in front of his home?”

Go re-read what you posted and then remember everyone involved has other more important things than meeting your needs.

Not hearing back from someone after a day is not getting 'ghosted'.

I completely understand your concern but sometimes it takes a bit longer to make a decision, or something came up at the office and the decision makers have been too busy.... A number of things could have happened. I know it sucks to sit on your hands and wait.

I'd stay calm until after Thanksgiving - if you haven't heard back by next Tuesday - by which I think you should have gotten something already - you can then drop an email.

Thanks, I appreciate the empathy. It is a bit nerve racking to hear them say "You'll hear on Date" and then get radio silence when that day comes.

I'll do like you said - wait till Tuesday.

A month or so ago I was contacted by a recruiter to set up a first round interview. I hit them back with my availability and never heard back again. Followed up a week later and still nothing. That’s getting ghosted.
