Did my cold email worked?

Hey monkeys, I just emailed a MD in a BB, which is my favorite one, introduced myself and attached my resume. Surprisingly he responded literally within a minute, but all he said is "thank you for your interest in XXXX(the BB), I'm copying this to my colleague xxx who is in charge of the summer analyst recruiting this year. Best". He forwarded my cold email and resume to the women he mentioned and I her a campus recruiting head, kinda like HR or something. What do yall think about it? I think it's like he didn't care much so just kicked me to the HR lady. Should I follow up, and to which person? Any input is greatly appreciated

follow up and say thanks, and ask if it would alright to stay in touch and reach out with follow up questions. you can take it two ways: he forwarded your resume, or he said "don't bother me." lol. im sure you're fine.

There's a closer meaning to my user name. Try reading it quickly. Perhaps you will then understand ;P
