Didn't get selected for on-campus interview; should I still go to office visit day?

The interview list results for my target school came out yesterday and I didn't get one of the BB's that I also happened to be invited to an office visit for (think like a mini S&T day on the job type thing for kids from my school only). The visit is schedule for next week. Do I still go and try to hustle my way into getting an off-campus interview, or is it too awkward/improper to go?

What do you have to lose if you go, unless youre paying out of pocket I dont see why you wouldnt go? I had a somewhat similar situation, applied for an analyst position at a BB, got denied by HR. Weeks later they have an event on my campus and I meet a few analysts/associates, few weeks after that Im at a superday in their office. Go out there and meet people.
