I am unsure how to delete this thread. The functionality highlighted in FAQs don't work/appear the way it should "To delete the thread, click the edit tab. Instead of editing your post, scroll down to where the "Save" button is and you will see a "Delete" button next to it. Click that, confirm and your thread is gone. You cannot edit or delete other people's comments on your thread."
