Do banks typically not respond after super day?

Hi all,

Had my FT super day at BB two weeks ago. Had another interview with the executive director several days after the superday. Director said I’d hear from HR by the end of the week. I emailed an associate and the executive director last week (1 week after superday) and no response. Emailed executive director again today (roughly two weeks after interview with them). Am I being pushy/is this a rejection? Will I get an offer? What  next steps should I take? This bank is my top choice.

Sorry, this is likely a rejection. Unless you hear back from them if someone else turns down an offer.

Doesn’t sound off honestly. I felt I did well on all the interviews, only thing I messed up on was forgetting to send thank you notes. Other than that I have nothing. Director also told me I interviewed strongly with her colleagues at the beginning of the interview.

You felt you did well but you actually have no idea how you compared with other candidates.  Likely there were lots of strong candidates.   My experience is that most offers go out either the day of or the day after the super day. The decisions are made pretty quickly.

Keep interviewing until you get an offer. You’ll get many rejections, but it’s ok. You just need 1 yes

Its not a hard rejection, but most banks let you know in the coming days right after. Not hearing back within a week usually means you've been soft-rejected or at the very best in a line of "waitlists" that you may or may not get off of. Sorry to say it
