Hey guys, current first year analyst at a smaller Canadian boutique shop. Have an interview for a lateral position at a Big 5 bank coming up. I don't smoke a lot but have recently.
Do the Big 5 or other larger Canadian banks generally drug test new hires?

I'm working for a BB in Canada and i'm getting tested.
I have friends at BMO : no test.

That said, noone I know from my school working at Big 5 is getting tested.

Haha yea it is slightly ironic. I don't use the forum a whole lot so I didn't put much thought into my name to be honest.
Hadn't actually smoked for about a year, starting a couple months before I started FT for this exact reason. Never ended up getting tested.
This interview was kind of unexpected so I feel like a bit of an idiot going all that time and then being in the exact position I was trying to avoid.
Can anyone else way in?
