Do I have a chance in full-time IB recruiting if both of my summer internships were back in LatAm?

I had an offer for IB in NY, but I'm trying to find an alternative opportunity for this summer since the offer might fall through. My 2022 internship was in IB in LatAm, and I have decided to return for my 2023 summer internship in that bank. If I wanted to work in the US in IB after graduating in June 2024, do I still have a chance, given that both my IB internships were back in Brazil?

Why did you decide to go back to BTG?

Employers know that international students have a hard time getting internships in the US, or that they just want to go home for a bit. BTG is quite reputable in LATAM so it should be well known in NY

I had a great experience with them last summer but I wanted an experience in the US. Additionally, they offered me a return offer by the end of my summer internship in September and I had signed with CS in June. I'm deciding on going back because, even considering that I enjoyed the experience but want a professional experience in the US, recruiting calendars in LatAm are a bit more flexible so they would probably be the only ones who would offer me a spot and also, I already know the dynamic in the office, so I'll be able to do more complex work (or at least more efficiently) this summer, and when it comes to LatAm, BTG is the place to be since they always lead the largest deals.
