Do interviewers or recruiters know of my age?

hey,

I am thinking of doing the 4-2 program with columbia university to study Financial Engineering... the problem is that by the time I will be applying for the summer internship at Columbia, I will be something like 25 years old... Also, I might have to go back to my country to serve for the army, which takes about 2 years. To sum up, I might be like 27 years old.

Since I do not write my age on my resume, is there any possibility that the interviewers or recruiters are aware of my age? Would it be a problem?
