Do you have to had a internship when applying for a FT Back Office job?
With the tough economy and the way the hiring situation looks, back office jobs, if someone can get them, are looking very attractive.
So granted that you need to have had an relevant internship experience to even have a shot at a FO job, what about a BO job?
Would someone without relevant work experience (read no junior finance internship) have a shot at getting an interview for a Back Office job?
I'm talking real Back Office job here. Ops or maybe even HR.
(Asking for a friend, but that is irrelevant to the question)
It's possible but BO in the grand scheme of things is still a pretty good gig to have after graduation. Do you have any leadership or high GPA to counter balance your lack of work experience?
