Do you have to show the people you ask for a reference from, the whole job description of your next job?
If you applied for a job and the recruiter asked for 3 references. Do you have to show your references the entire job description before you get the reference? (Like responsibilities, salary, qualifications, etc.)
What exactly is a reference? Is it a personal letter saying how you did during your last job? Or is it a judgment from people who know you and a prediction on how you would do on your next job?
