Do you think you would have an easier front office finance career (investment banking, private equity, venture capital) in another country? The reason I mention front office is that it's my current understanding that those roles, through seniority and experience, lead to opportunities that allow you to use, or even need, creativity. I feel like in some environments than others, it's easier to do well. So if your role's tasks aren't as straightforward as they are if you're more junior, then it's probably a good idea to find an environment where it's likely for you to perform well.

Finally, I hate to mention this, but I can imagine someone who's a certain identity of person, let's say they're a woman, or they're a certain sexual orientation, would have an easier time in their career depending on where they are physically. Since some geographic areas have certain values. But at the same time, certain strata of finance are more unconnected from their geographic area. So, I don't know how true this would be.

I'm really thinking about working in Europe a few years into my career.

Also, mods, if you could move this to off-topic and allow my account to remain anonymous, I would appreciate it a lot.
