Does a company know if you withdraw an application?
I applied to some roles at a firm where they didn't give us a particular limit. But I feel like I might have applied to too many roles and am now wondering if I should withdraw from the roles I am less interested in just in case. Will they find out if I have withdrawed from those roles?
The software they use for recruiting will show that data i.e., positions you applied to, status, etc. Regardless, if you are not interested or competitive for some of the positions, you should withdraw them so that the recruiter is less likely to think you lack focus or seem desperate.
i was told that alumni from my school would be reviewing the applications together - would they end up seeing that i've applied to all of these roles then much more clearly? i just don't want to embarrass myself and make it seem like i have no focus because i've networked quite a bit with this firm.
What recruiting software do companies use? Any example? Thought people just recruit by emailing resumes out
Got it, the way the withdraw works is that I have to send a note with it which is what I am nervous about since I don’t really know what I would put in this note. Would withdrawing look worse than keeping the applications?
HR literally doesn't give a shit they get thousands of applications
so should i withdraw or not? and if i withdraw, what should i say?
They don’t care, honest truth. You could say you’re going to prison for life, still won’t care you could apply again and it won’t change anything
Second this. It’s not that serious - don’t overthink it.
