Does J.P. Morgan IBD do Employee Referrals? - JPM SA 2021
Hope you're all doing well. I am recruiting for summer 2021 from a nontarget school. I've heard that JPM doesn't take employee recommendations (cold emailing ppl at the bank to get them to push my resume through the process).
Can anyone confirm this? I get that I should still network so I can name-drop in an interview, but as a nontarget, it's pretty hard to even get to that point without having someone push your resume.
Also, any other insight on the recruitment timeline/process at JPM would be great.
Based on what I've heard from other analysts, they don't do referrals and base first rounds off the hirevue. Networking will still help you have a good reason for why jpm.
They don’t do referrals. From what I’ve seen, JPM hires diversity candidates from non target schools
