does networking help for pe recruiting ?
Given that PE recruiting typically goes through headhunters, would it still help to network with associates and VPs of PE firms? can they pull for you in the same way ib analysts and associates can? Also are there ways to apply directly through a PE firm if you’ve developed a connection vs having to go through HH?
