Career Resources
10~12 interviews out of 400 app = 2.5% interview offer rate. That's not too bad man, cheer up! Why don't you post your resume and see if anyone will review it for you?
I'm also having the same problem. Also have Masters in Econometrics and BBA. Thanks in advance.
Who else here has a Masters in Econ that isn't really helping their career prospects?

Sounds like people shouldn't do econ.
I try to tell people on here that. The only thing worse than being an econ major is being a finance major or having a Ba. of business administration.
Get a real major...that can be used in back up situations
Real major such as accounting, computer sciences, engineering, ....?
Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Biometry
Something along those lines. And this is coming from an Econ major. The biggest mistake I have made is becoming an econ major. I love the classes and the material and I have done well but I should have realized that having a backup plan is the smart thing to do.
An engineer/Com Sci major can learn finance in a month. An econ major would never learn the amount of com sci or problem solving that engineers learn
Having done econ at top target, completely agree with will hunting.
