Sounds like people shouldn't do econ.

I try to tell people on here that. The only thing worse than being an econ major is being a finance major or having a Ba. of business administration.

Get a real major...that can be used in back up situations

"Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way. In twenty years, if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house to watch the Patriots games, still workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill you. That's not a threat, that's a fact.

Real major such as accounting, computer sciences, engineering, ....?

No one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions; he had money as well.

Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Biometry

Something along those lines. And this is coming from an Econ major. The biggest mistake I have made is becoming an econ major. I love the classes and the material and I have done well but I should have realized that having a backup plan is the smart thing to do.

An engineer/Com Sci major can learn finance in a month. An econ major would never learn the amount of com sci or problem solving that engineers learn
