Downtime before starting career in Big 4 Audit

Im set to graduate this winter and I have 4–5 months before starting in Big 4 Audit, I'm not sure if Audit is where I want to be long-term. I’m debating whether I should focus on studying for and attempting to pass parts of the CPA exam or start my career without it and explore other opportunities. I'm confused in my career path right now I've always been interested in real estate and M&A but not having any real estate experience and also being in accounting, i was wondering how difficult it would be to transition into these areas. I know the CPA can help me down the line and open up opportunities but it would be a time commitment into a area where I don't want to be in in the long run. What would you do with a few months of downtime before starting your career
