Dress etiquette for lunch interview at mall?
Hey guys I sent my resume and cover letter for an investment banking internship during the fall next year at a regional office of a top boutique (Evercore, Lazard, Greenhill). An analyst replied and said he wanted to get lunch with me this weekend at the local mall and I was wondering what would be appropriate to wear in this situation, full suit, or button-up and slacks?
Also what kind of questions should I expect from him? I'm a rising junior at a top public without any prior finance experience and this is my first i-banking interview so I'm really nervous and excited.
I appreciate all the help, thanks!
business casual, there is a thread on women's wardrobe if you do a search.
dress for the job you want
try and figure out what the firms dress code is...the analyst will probably be wearing that so go with that
alot of places in ny have biz cas idk about regional offices
Lazard is business formal.
I say to be safe, dress to impress (business formal), but come across as easy-going, passionate, and confident during your interview. In other words, show them you are taking the opportunity seriously, but also show them you're an easy working guy- someone they wouldn't mind working with for 15 hours a day.
