non-target or semi-target? There's a HUGE difference. Non-targets (like non-flagship state schools) have no resume drops or presence at all on campuses, semi-targets have resume drops and even on-campus recruiting and info sessions. The difference between target and semi-target is really just how forgiving they are with things like grades, ECs, and choice of major. If you come from UMich, UIUC, Northwestern, you'll need a 3.5 major in finance. If you come from UChicago, H/Y/P, no one gives a rats ass.
