Easier Finance Jobs/Exiting Finance for Better Quality of Life

After only a few years at a consulting firm, with prior experience in banking, I've pretty much concluded that a) I have little interest working long hours or being expected to do so, and b) I may have little to no interest in finance, although that may just be due to the disdain for the lifestyle. I am saying this despite the fact that I scaled back the hours moving from banking to consulting, thinking that the lifestyle would improve. It did not.

My question is: are there any opportunities in finance that are 40 hours or less and even remotely interesting? Pay isn't as important as living a happy life. And/or are there any fields that a young professional with only a finance degree (25 y/o analyst/associate) could get into that are outside the scope of finance that would have a better quality of life?

One idea that pops to mind is a software engineering bootcamp to pivot my career, but I've heard mixed things. Would appreciate any advice on this or other similar career pivots.
