Econ + CS undergrad

Hi, i wanted to know if it was a good idea to get both an Econ BD and a CS BD. Since i am about to finish my economics studies, i was thinking about doing computer science in two years full time. Would that make me a better candidate for a quant position? or even for IB? (i know IB does not require that much CS, if any, but still).

I want to know your opinion on this, since paying for a masters is out of my reach ATM and i really want to specialize in quantitative research - trading, but at the same time i don´t want to make the sacrifice of going through a 4 year career in 2, if it is not worth it.

Let me know what you think!
