Energy Trading Career

Greetings mates,
I have a question on energy trading career.
But, please answer if you know this for sure.
What city and what country is the best for energy trading career ? Houston, Dallas, Dubai, London, NYC, something else ? USA, UK, UAE, Switzerland, something else?
And is energy trading available only at banks, hedge funds, and other investment firms ? Or at oil companies as well ?
Thanks,

If you enjoy free health care and pretty girls there is always Calgary AB in Canada, has both major oil companies and banks which trade energy.

Big hubs are Switzerland/London in Europe, Houston/NYC in the US, Singapore in Asia The type of trading really depends on the firms, for example the core for oil majors will be physical trading, even if they have some paper activity on the side. Hedge funds or banks would be more focused on financial trading
