Engineer in law school looking to move into finance
Yo,
I'm currently a law student at a t14 law school. I have an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and economics. I worked as an engineer for a few years and didn't like it. I was a summer associate at a top7 law firm; however, its not something I am deeply interested in.
With that said, finance is my area of interest. My quant skills are strong and I regularly read the WSJ and the economist. I'm not saying I know a lot about finance but I do have a basic understanding.
What should I be looking for? Is PE/consulting/IB an option? Which one will suit my background the best and which pays the most? What other options do I have?
I don't know what avenues to look into and would greatly appreciate some guidance.
