Entry level - Career Switch Advice: From Business Relationship Manager to Something More International?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently working as a Business Relationship Manager at a major European bank since January 2025. It’s an entry-level role, and while I’ve gained some exposure to corporate clients and credit processes, I’ve realized this path isn’t for me.
I’m looking for something more dynamic, international, and ideally with better growth prospects (and salary). I’d be open to transitioning into areas like corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or strategy, especially in environments where I can work in English and be part of a more global setup.
Has anyone made a similar move from a client-facing banking role? Any advice on next steps or potential entry level roles that would value my background?
Thanks a lot in advance!
