Entry Level - Finding an asset management job with only reinsurance internships
I am doing a double degree in actuarial science and business, currently about to graduate in the upcoming year, so I would say there is no chance for any additional internships. I currently have 4 internships, but none of them are directly relevant to banking, first one real estate investment internship at a small firm. The remaining 3 internships are all actuarial internships at top reinsurance firms, think Swiss Re, Munich Re and RGA at various divisions (pricing, valuation and reserving). However, with such a pigeonholed CV, I was wondering if there is any chance to pivot towards asset or investment management jobs with only a 3.45 GPA. What would be the best way to approach the recruiting process in banks and would other divisions be better (e.g. FIG)?
