Equity research, Corporate advisory or Equity desk

Hello, guys! I strongly need your advice on the following dilemma.
At the moment I am a participant of a rotational internship program (bulge bracket bank) in EMEA.
Our IBD department was reorganised into Corporate Advisory desk, which is basically similar to IBD in terms of functions, but is concentrated on mid-cap companies.
The prospects of corporate finance industry remain uncertain, so I started looking at Equity desk, but still not sure whether my skills and character are applicable for this type of activity.
The other option is Equity Research, but this is corporate finance related deal.
So, the dilemma is between corporate finance and s&t. If I choose corporate finance, which dept will be better for my future chances to get in IBD: from Equity Research or Corporate Advisory desk (MID-CAP oriented, but with a good flow of deals)?
