Expected Time to Start at the Bank

Hey,

I was wondering, after the interviews and offer, what is a reasonable period of time the bank expects that you start working? Since I am currently at a boutique executing live deals, will the bank provide a couple of weeks so I can talk to my bosses, bureocracy issues, etc. or am I expected to start at the new job right away?

It just depends on the company. I've had one company give me a 7 month window.
