You have no clue how easy it is to get certified. There's interns that are certified and @dickfuld is also certified.

we do our best, a few may slip through the cracks but our vetting process is solid and our accuracy rate is very very high.
I lost faith in the system when Dickfuld was certified
but the person behind DickFuld is actually a professional. What users are interns and certified? We'd be happy to dig into anyone you think should not be certfied that is.
If someone has gone out of their way to create an entirely fake profile, LinkedIn profile and backstory and they happen to get Certified on WSO as a result of hours of work to "trick" us, then congratulations. It's like these weirdos that wrote scripts to try and game the voting system in the past and forced us to ban members...I think maybe they get a thrill out of tricking a small internet company into giving them a gold star? I'd like to think this is less than 0.3% of all certifieds :-)
We are investigating Matrick right now to confirm. In the meantime, his Certified User status has been revoked. I think for 99.9% of the Certified Users this is not the case, so not sure why you'd lose faith in the "system"...it's really not that complex.
Occasionally we get weird liars that trick us or someone gets through because of a mistake, but it's very rare.
So again, I challenge you, name more than 1 other Certified User that is not a professional?
