Has anyone lied or vastly exaggerated an example when asked a "tell me a time when..." type of question?

For a time when you got into a conflict with others, I always use a pre fabricated story. I’ve been lucky enough to work with people I who are very agreeable so I just be a story about a disagreement and how I resolved it. As long as it fits into the Star pattern and isn’t too embellished, it goes over well.

Bro I make up/completely embellish most of the “tell me about a time when” stories. I see myself as a moral person (please lmk if you think otherwise based on this), but these questions just seem to be a test of how quickly you can think on your feet. Thoughts?
