Fall/Spring Offcycle PE internship while having signed IBD SA2021 - tips?

Given that my school is going to be online this fall/spring, I am thinking of doing an offcycle PE internship. I have already signed for an EB for SA2021, and because my school isn't really a target and have no processes for good offcycle internships, I was thinking about mentioning my EB offer within my cold emails to be a more attractive candidate. I was wondering if you guys think that might be a liability (e.g the firm thinks I am too pompous, or not willing to take me on because it's clear I won't be returning).
