Feel so lost, Need Advice - 2022 SA

I have to say I did all the right things that this site recommends to break into IB and have gone through SDs - all rejections. Feel very lost and disheartened. With recruiting being effectively over, was wondering what I should do as a soph with no junior SA. Thanks.

Do you have any idea what places have these roles open by chance? From what I've seen S&T is largely finished everywhere but I could be wrong.

I'm honestly not sure. I just know that, in the past, S&T positions at many BBs would recruit in the fall. Maybe it changed this year, I don't know. But two years ago, GS and MS interviewed S&T and Cap Markets people in the fall of a student's junior year (for the next summer... meaning they interviewed 10 months in advance of job starting.)

Hey man it's def not over lots of firms still recruiting. In a similar position have done like 4 SD's so far rejected from 3/4 and still waiting to hear back from one of them. As cliche as it sounds just keep believing in yourself and pushing on. You'll get something man

All the Big 4 accounting guys I know who broke into either IB or PE are absolute demons and arguably better than the Harvard guys I know that speak Greek and went to BX out of ugrad.

Idk if this is serious but I would not shit on them whatsoever - its a great crash course in finance and produces great analysts. It’s a fine place to start.
