Feeling Stuck in China: Debating Long-Term Career Moves and International Opportunities

I've been working at an international organization in China, and while the work environment is great and my family is nearby, I’ve been feeling a bit uncertain about my long-term future here. The macroeconomic outlook for China has me concerned, and I’m starting to question if this is where I want to settle down. Culturally, I sometimes feel disconnected and isolated, which adds to my doubts about whether this is the right place for me in the long run.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about exploring opportunities in the US, where there might be more international exposure and growth potential. But I’m also worried about the visa situation and whether it would be worth making such a big move. Has anyone else been through something similar? How did you deal with the uncertainty? Any advice or thoughts on balancing personal and professional priorities would be really helpful!
