FIG Coverage versus Portfolio Analytics

Hello monkeys,

I have to decide between two possible offers. The first one if FIG coverage. Tasks are:

  • Following the activity of clients.
  • Preparation and aggregation of relevant information for the team.
  • Preparation of presentations for clients.
  • Benchmarking and preliminary valuations

The other one is Portfolio Analytics with a twist - not your standard PA position:

  • Creation of activity reports, market resports and other reports for investors.
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis about portfolios to understand them bettter.
  • Analysis and development of models that allow to estimate the return and evolution of funds. Support the team in the monitoring
  • Active search of information to feed databases. Creation of financial models.
  • Creation of excel sheets. Implementation of tools and applications of databases.

I get the first is front office and the second is backoffice, but I was told I would be going to meet and discuss stuff with investors. How do you envision them if Long Term is M&A/HF/PE?

Best!
