Finance careers in the West Coast

Hey y'all, I'm a life-long East coast guy close to completing my UG. I'm curious about fin services job opportunities in the West Coast. I know SF might be an option, but I'm looking towards some bigger banks/companies, specifically in global finance or wealth management. Cali would be my preferable location.

Currently, I have an internship w JP Morgan lined up this summer in NYC (virtually ofc). Can that help me down the road in any way? Possibly getting a FT offer and transferring locations perhaps? Lmk if you have any suggestions or general advice.
