Finance Contractor or Intern on Resume?

I have been applying for jobs in investment management since Dec. I was recently able to land a job as a jr. financial analyst and a non-IM Telecommunications Equipment company with a market cap of about $10B.

I was hired on as a temp, and depending on which one of my bosses you talk to I am either a finance contractor or an intern. My question is what looks better on a resume, finance contractor or intern?

This is my first job/internship since college, and I did not (stupidly) do any internships in college. Thanks in advance.
