Finance Opportunities for Rising College Freshman

Hello all,

I am a current high school senior attending an ivy-feeder prep school. I have already been accepted to one of my top choice target schools, Georgetown McDonough, and am waiting on my application results for HYPSM. I have been interested in finance for quite some time, taking financial math, econ, and high level (differential equations, linear algebra) math courses, while keeping up to date with financial news in the journal. Now that I am done with the college application process and have quite a bit of free time on my hands, I was wondering if there are any opportunities out there for summer finance internships for rising college freshman.

Although I hear that it is unlikely and hard to get any sort of internship at my current age, I clearly have a dedicated passion and will not stop until I I find one. Can I have some help on where I may potentially land an internship, whether it be cold-emailing smaller boutique banks, or leveraging school and family connections?

Thanks!
