Finance, Technology, and Government Affairs

Fellow Monkey's

I am looking for insight on a fit between these three areas.

A little background:
1. I would like to work in a bank or an advisory firm focused on financial institutions.
2. My internship at a bank was in technology, my school has high placement rate within technology, and technology is where most are the jobs are going anyways.
3. The materials I enjoy reading are on legal and regulatory issues. A few examples include: news on Dodd-Frank, the book Confidence Game, learning about US Treasury/FED/SEC/Lobbyists

What positions work best for these three options?
I am interested in Promontory, however I do not have any experience.
I am thinking government affairs/public policy, however my background does not include experience in this area.

Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!
