Financial Analysis Independent Contractor

I am seriously considering offering my professional services as an Independent Contractor or Consultant. The good news is I have significant practical experience doing a wide range or financial analysis and financial modeling for a number of commercial companies in the Washington DC Metro area. I am really good at designing advanced Excel based models for FP&A, Corporate Finance, Fixed Income. I have worked with just about every conceivable type and flavor or Financial Accounting data for reporting, analysis, and modeling.

I am also taking a number of WSP modeling courses, which have sharpened my understanding and knowledge.

I've thought about reaching out to Securities Attorneys, Start ups, Banks, Asset Mangers etc. A fairly broad range.

Any thoughts or advice or experience with this type of endeavor?

Thanks raffrobb
