Finishing grad school, what are the prospects for me?

For starters, have a fairly non-traditional background. About to wrap up a business degree with a concentration in cybersecurity and risk (won't name exact program out of fear of being doxed) from, what I would call, a mid-tier state school. Also, currently working in the federal consulting space. Realistically, just want to start steering away from fed work, I haven't really enjoyed the last year or so with Don in office and want to explore other, more lucrative options.

I went through a few rounds of RM and compliance interviews earlier in the year, and while I made some great connections and conversation, ultimately nothing happened. No offers, and I can't help but feel I missed the window. These were all either asset management shops or small or mid sized regional firms. I felt and still do feel very inadequate for missing the mark.

What are my chances at this point? Am I doomed to the whims of the federal government forever, or is there still a more lucrative exit path out there for me?
