First round interview selection process
When you apply, are you mostly competing against people from your own school for first round interviews? In other words do banks try to interview at least one person from each school or do they not care and just evaluate individually? If so, would someone have a better chance at a first round if they were the only person/one of only a few applying from a pretty highly ranked but non-target school?
