First Year Summer -- Cold Emailing!

Hey-

I am a first year at a target university and I got a lot of help from a junior, who shared a list of 70 firms/contacts, alongside their cold email template. Of course, I will individualize the emails myself and attach my own resume, but will these contacts notice if it is the same format that my friend sent two years ago?

Also, if the contact didn't respond two years ago, should I try to search for a new contact?
