Follow up with MD or HR
Is it discouraged to follow up with the MD for an update on the interview even if you don't hear back from the HR after following up? It's been 2+weeks.

Follow up with the MD and let them know you haven't heard back from HR. You never know, if the MD applies some pressure HR may feel more obligated to actually reply to you.
