For my next role should I put this on my resume?
I placed third in my state in tennis at the age of 14, I’m 23 now and haven’t played tennis in about 6 years. Would I look like an idiot?

It was 9 years ago man move on lmao. On a serious note, you don’t compete anymore so I wouldn’t include it personally. You could list tennis as an interest and mention it in an interview when/if it’s appropriate. I played at wimbledon when I was younger but I don’t list it. Have mentioned it in interviews when asked about tennis since I have it listed on my resume as an interest.
Agree with above, I'd put it as an interest. If you had competed at nationally ranked or ITF level to the point a non-player would be really impressed, I'd have one line about it, but at 23 you should have more important things to have on there

Got it, I played a different sport so don't know the ranking system well - maybe put Tennis (Ranked in top 150 as a junior) or something, doesn't take up a ton of space or call out that you were 14 but still looks impressive
