Had a superday on Friday- went pretty well. Still haven't heard.
Forgot to write thank you notes that Friday since a) I heard they didn't really matter, b) I got home pretty late that night.
Any point in writing them now? I assume I'm on the waitlist/rejected right now, so does it matter if I send thank you emails now?
I think if you send them now it'll just be obvious you forgot and are using them in the hope of getting an offer. Not much point at this stage in the game.
Have to agree. Decisions are made 30 seconds after you walk out of the room - thank you's are just a formality. U never know if the group you are interviewing for has a prick who actually cares about that stuff, but at this stage in the game i wpuldnt worry about it - youd just be calling neg attention to yourself by reminding them you forgot.
